Memory and Learning

A lot of people think you can get through the day with barley any sleep, but the fact of the matter is that it hurts your learning skills. Studies show that with a lack of sleep, your memory, motivation, judgment, an mood is effected. For teens learning is their number one priority and if a lack of sleep can hurt it why would you? When we are sleep deprived we loose focus often and were less likely to perform at our best. Its also hard to understand new information. Sleeping affects our memory and our learning so its very important to get the recommended amount of sleep every night.
